HILLCREST, Meadville's hillside community of 202 single-family homes, was the nation's first FHA housing project. The houses have been well-maintained and remodeled since they were built in 1936. Hillcrest continues today as a quiet residential neighborhood with an environment suited to individuals, young families and retired people alike. Many residents have lived here for 20, 30 even 40 years.
HILLCREST offers in-town convenience for those who would prefer to rent a house with a private backyard rather than an apartment. We are located within walking distance of elementary and secondary schools as well as the Meadville Area Recreation Complex which provides swimming and ice skating facilities and other activities.
Each home has a living room, formal dining room and kitchen on
the first floor and bedrooms & bath on the second floor.
Prefinished hardwood floors throughout enhance the cozy atmosphere
that is Hillcrest's trademark. The full basements in each home
allow for laundry hookups and adequate storage space.
Pets are permitted at Hillcrest but
must be controlled at all times.
All tenants must sign a one-year lease
and new tenants must provide a security deposit equal to one
month's rent.
